A tech partner for your startup.

I partner with a few projects whose tech is still to be built. I take an equity stake and the CTO or CPO role: time, expertise and hands-on work, on the tech side only.

Who it is for

It is for you if

  • Your project's tech is still to be built.
  • You do not have a tech co-founder yet.
  • You are ready to commit, and to share equity.

It is probably not for you if

  • Your product is already developed: consulting is a better fit.
  • You mainly need funding: I don't invest money or help raise it.
  • You expect someone to sell or meet your customers for you.

How we become partners

A partnership lasts years. We take the time to start well.

  1. First call

    30 minutes · with Vincent

You present your project in a few lines, then we talk for 30 minutes. I tell you quickly whether the project needs what I do.

    In practice

    • A first, frank answer
    • If it fits, a series of conversations
  2. Conversations

    Several sessionsStudio

Several meetings to see whether we get along, understand your ambitions and how you want the project to grow.

    In practice

    • The fit between partners, checked before signing
    • Aligned ambitions, said out loud
  3. Shareholders' agreement

    The SHA, written togetherStudio

We write the shareholders' agreement together. It sets my equity stake, each person's role, how the company is governed and what happens in hard cases.

    In practice

    • My equity stake, in exchange for my commitment
    • Roles and governance, in black and white
  4. Kick-off

    Everyone owns their partStudio

Once the agreement is signed, everyone takes ownership of their part. I take charge of the tech: architecture, web and mobile development, production.

    In practice

    • A partner CTO or CPO from day one
    • Tech chosen to last, not to impress
  5. For the long run;

    Tech, run by VincentStudio

I maintain the product, iterate and keep improving it. I stay in my area of expertise: I rarely go into the field, and only meet customers or partners when it helps.

    In practice

    • Tech looked after for the long run, with no contractor to chase
    • You keep the field, the customers and the sales
